Rectangle® is a new kind of art platform — one that brings important contemporary works out of galleries and artist studios, and into the spaces where people gather and culture happens.

To aid in art discovery and visibility, we have designed and patented a sleek, discreet art placard that we call the “Rectangle.”  Each Rectangle updates in real time and subtly uses light, color and animation to help draw attention to the art, tell its story, and invite people to explore the artwork and artist.

Every artwork paired with a Rectangle is curated by art-world and cultural leaders who select artists not just for their skill and vision, but for how their work speaks to a specific place and moment.  You can think of a Rectangle as a symbol of trust and confidence.

Each artwork displayed through Rectangle® includes a smart placard that signals availability. If it’s available, simply scan the custom QR code or visit Rectangle.art for pricing, and purchase options. You can buy directly through our site — securely and in minutes.

Some works are one-of-a-kind, but others may be available as editions. Scan the placard or search the site to check. If it’s unavailable, reach out — we’ll let you know what’s possible, including if we offer custom commissions through the artist.

Yes — you can see all works available from the artist on their Rectangle profile page, as well as any upcoming drops or events.

In many cases, yes. If you want something specific — a different size, subject, or tone — we’re happy to explore a commission. Use the inquiry form on the artwork page or contact us directly.

Most works on Rectangle® are originals. If a piece is an edition or print, we clearly indicate that, along with sizing, format, and certification info.

Yes. All works — originals and editions — ship with a signed certificate of authenticity. Editions are additionally numbered by the artist

Yes — select works are available as museum-quality prints. Print availability, size, and framing options are listed on each product page.

It depends on the piece. Some originals include framing as part of the artist’s presentation. For prints, we offer framing options where available at checkout.

If options are available, they’ll appear at checkout. For special requests, contact us and we’ll do our best to accommodate.

Prices are set in collaboration with the artist or their representative. We don’t typically negotiate, but we’re open to payment options or commissions if that helps you acquire the piece you love. For requests, contact us and we’ll see what we can do

Yes. Works are vetted and displayed or stored in trusted environments. We inspect every piece before shipping and provide condition reports when needed.

Originals are professionally packed and fully insured through specialized art shippers. Prints ship rolled or flat, depending on format and framing (if you chose to frame your print).

We currently ship across the U.S., Canada, and select international destinations. If you’re outside our shipping zone, contact us and we’ll do our best to help.

Originals typically ship within 5–10 business days after the exhibition period ends.

Prints ship with 3–7 business days.
You’ll receive tracking as soon as your order ships.

Sales tax is calculated at checkout. International buyers may be responsible for duties or import fees upon delivery.

Because most works are one-of-a-kind or made-to-order, all sales are final. However, if something arrives damaged or isn’t as described, contact us immediately — we’ll make it right.

Yes. Every piece includes full context and background on the website. If you need more details — on medium, framing, provenance, etc. — feel free to reach out.

Most works ship with basic hanging hardware. For larger or delicate works, we recommend using a local art installer — and we’re happy to refer one.

Keep originals out of direct sunlight and moisture. For prints, use archival framing and avoid high humidity.
